Fintona Girls' School is renowned for consistently achieving outstanding VCE results, placing Fintona among the best performing girls' schools in Victoria. The VCE results from the Class of 2017 once again affirm our strong position.
We congratulate the Year 12 Class of 2017 for their excellent academic achievements and are immensely proud of the young women they have become. These results are especially pleasing as we are a non-selective school that encourages all our students to achieve their highest aspirations, whatever they may be.
The Class of 2017 is also to be commended for the rich contribution they made in so many areas to our community and for upholding the School's values with integrity and honour.
Our VCE success would not be possible without the unwavering dedication and guidance of our high calibre teaching staff who have supported our students not just in Year 12 but throughout their time at Fintona.
We congratulate Dux, Joanna Bleakley, who achieved an ATAR of 99.8.
