The Annual Music Concert, on the evening of Wednesday 17 August, was a spectacular showcase of Fintona talent.
The Melbourne Recital Centre was a worthy venue for the broad range of Fintona talent on display at the Annual Music Concert.
From our youngest Year 2 String ensemble performers through to our Year 12 performers, the night was a true testament to the quality of our instrumental and ensemble music program. We were treated to contemporary, rock, folk, jazz and classical music, including a piece from Eurovision 2022 and Frozen.
The evening concluded with our amazing instrumental/music teachers performing Ain’t no Mountain High Enough to rousing applause.
Such nights cannot happen without the support and dedication of a whole team of people. Thank you to our Music Learning Leader, Karen Heath, for her unwavering determination to make this year’s event one to remember, along with Ben Christensen, our fabulous instrumental teachers, Music Administrator, John Batterham, and our Maintenance staff, Marketing and the teachers who put up their hand to support the girls on the night.
