Congratulations to Charlotte, Katy and Yasmin in Year 12 for their speeches at the recent Debaters Association of Victoria (DAV) Public Speaking Senior Division Public Speaking Competition.
All three students achieved amazing results with Yasmin being the second runner-up, Katy the first runner up and Charlotte the winner of the competition on the day.
The Senior Public Speaking competition has become a popular event in the Debaters Association of Victoria (DAV) calendar. Senior students (Year 11 and Year 12) extend their existing public speaking skills by presenting one prepared speech (six to eight minutes) and two impromptu speeches (four to five minutes). Students receive high quality feedback from experienced adjudicators, as well as the opportunity to watch fellow speakers.
